Environment & Energy
Ecology: Nowadays, the necessity for production and energy saving solutions that don't contaminate the environment has become common knowledge. The planet’s conventional energy resources are diminishing to a threatening level as our society’s energy requirements are increasing, generating pollutants that affect the climate’s balance.
Autonomy: Renewable energy sources promise a solution to the energy problem as well as to pollution. Gradually, the international legislation is changing and encouraging - or even imposing - the use of alternative energy products, with the aim to satisfy energy requirements without endangering the environment. Solar and photovoltaic systems, wind turbines and a multitude of other energy friendly products are here to build the ecological home of the future.
Efficiency: Solar systems constitute an ecological proposal and an effective energy solution, combining high output, autonomy, aesthetics, facility in the installation and money saving. They are made of excellent materials according to international specifications and possess all the certifications and tests that confirm their quality.
Aesthetics: They are highly aesthetic systems, which can be simply and quickly installed to blend with the traditional or modern architecture of a building and to provide free hot water almost the whole year round. Even in regions with low sunlight conditions present they achieve the preheating of the water, which contributes to a drastically reduced consumption of conventional energy.
Economy: The expense height depends on each case’s particularities. Broadly speaking, it is considered as an investment that pays off after 3-7 years with a medium life time longer than 20 years. With the use of solar systems, thermosiphonic or forced circulation, an energy saving of 70-100% is achieved. At the same time the operation time of the boiler or the heating element is decreased, depending on the sunlight of each region and the system’s size, with simultaneous reduction of emission of carbon dioxide.
The sun: The benefactor of our planet. The alternative solution for the covering of our future energy needs. Peaceful and autonomous. It belongs to no one and is daily offered freely everywhere on the planet without discriminations.
Solar power: A clean, endless, mild and renewable energy source, derived from the nature itself. It is the only energy source that offers predictability and security in power supply. Its use protects the environment and does not cause climatic changes, given that it emits no pollutants and contributes to the energy balance by reducing consumption of conventional energy sources. Let’s take the example of a typical household solar water heater: it saves about 1.000 kWh/m² annually and prevents the emission of 1.200kg CO₂, which is equal to what a 1.500m² forest would absorb. Let’s accept the generous offer of our sun and take a conscious stance towards the energy threat of the future, by selecting environmentally friendly products. Let all of us say:
“Yes. We do want to provide our children with a better world!”
